I am a 'scambaiter', and as a hobby, and public service, seek out internet scammers to 'play' with, and gather information to publish. Never accept pictures, or phone calls as proof you are in contact with the person in pictures somebody shows you, or sends you. Never send money to somebody you only know from the internet, or phone. THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE! The emails posted here are for scammers.
Hi my name is Jane, and I am from England.I was sent a friend request from this man,,it said that he was in a relationship,so I accepted him.I am happily married but have an interest in American politics,so I thought he may want a pen-pal..I replied, and in seconds he had a pasted speech, much in pidgin English about finding love that would not fade.etc//etc..I told him he had gotton the wrong Idea,,but was still wanted to be friends..I knew he was a scammer, but was interested on how he would go about it..He sent me a picture of himself in uniform and also smart dress...It was the usual e-6 SSG sergeant,non-commissioned,training junior officers etc.I have found quite a few pictures of him on the romance scam sites. The name that is on his face book page is Namawo Naporoo..hardly an American name which he says he is...he says he is in Ghana with his sick step-son and wish he could take hin to America...I am so confused, these pictures of this man are stolen ??does he know..and what is his real name...Thank you for listening..and please dont worry about me,I have 5 children,I know all about little scammers..lol..Jane x
ReplyDeleteIt's usually not a good idea to try to contact the real person in the stolen pictures, if you can identify/find them.
ReplyDeleteThe real person will usually be angry or freaked out with you.
